.black strawberries (film)
An off-beat, dark comedy short film, "Black Strawberries", combines the romantic illusions of a voyeuristic talk show cameraman and a young woman's obsessive desire for chocolate. The story turns ironic and provocative as the two lives and obsessions converge. Written/produced and directed by Marion Trent. Co-written by Michael Larson. "Black Strawberries" played the New York Film Festival, Deep Ellum Film Festival and the Dallas Video Festival. Director of Photography, Gary Jay. Shot on Super 16mm film, this "artistic confection" examines the joy of succumbing to obsessions despite the consequences. A film that is a chocolate-aphrodisiac love potion with a dash of Hitchcock sprinkled in for spice. Creative Momentum, copyright 1999. .dark night of the soul (film)
Exclusive interviews with Genaro Camacho at Huntsville Penitentiary, Texas in 1993. Camacho was a convicted killer and sociopath who was executed on August 26, 1998. He was referred to by Dallas authorities as a "Charles Manson" because he had convinced his followers to commit many of his killings. Ironically, he had only known his henchman for a very short time. He was a cold-blooded sociopath, who manipulated people with fear.
The purpose of our interviews was to understand a killer's mind and to possibly get a confession. Instead, we ended up entrapped in a master-manipulator's mind games, much like "Silence of the Lambs."
This story has been developed.
